Descriptions

The Rustins Wood Bleach Set removes weather stains and discolourations. Makes bare wood white or lighter in colour. Use to bleach natural timber to a lighter shade so it can then be stained to another wood shade, using Rustin's Wood Dyes.Preparation:Will only work on bare wood. All varnish, lacquer or polish must be removed before applying the solutions. Old finishes are best removed with Rustin's Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.Remove asmuch of theold finish aspossible with a scraper, then damp the surface again with Strypit and rub with the grain with NO 1 or 2 steel wool. Wipe surface with clean rag and allow todry.Application:Apply solution A to clean, drywood with a brush and leave for 10-20 minutes before applying solution B.ome woods will darken when solution A is applied. The actualbleaching takes place after application of solution B.Coats: one coat of solution A followed by a coat of solution B.Drying Time: Afterapplication of solution B leave for a minimum of 2hours. If the product dries out it can form crystals which can be very difficult to remove so ensure sufficientsolution isapplied to prevent drying out.Re-coating Time: If the wood isvery darkor badly stained, repeat application of both solutions after 2 hours.
