These grinders are designed for heavy-duty use and use 230mm diameter, 22mm bore metal and stone cutting and grinding discs. When using a disc, care should always be taken to ensure it is correct for the material being worked on, and for the application, cutting or grinding. Never use cutting discs for grinding applications. For de-rusting, descaling, and polishing projects, backing pads, resin bonded fibre sanding discs, bonnets, pads, flap discs, and wire cup brushes can be used.
