Planers

Powered planers are the powered version of the classic woodworking hand plane; they are capable of removing large amounts of material with the minimum of effort and in most cases will give a good clean finish. Being fitted with twin carbide blades, they are able to plane both wood and man made boards such as MDF and Chipboard. Typically, these tools can remove 2mm or more of material with each pass although some can go deeper.
