Self-tapper screws are used in a variety of applicationsranging from DIY, carpentry to surgery. A self-tapper screw is suitably named, similar to the machine screw but ableto tap its own hole as it is driven into metal and hard plastics (within reasonable limits of substrate hardness and depth), wood or soft plastics.
