Alpha Chem Gun Grade Foam 700ml - Fire Class B3

An easy to use, one part PU Expanding Foam ideal for general construction and home improvement uses. For use with foam applicator guns, featuring higher yield with expansion up to 1.5 times, easy application and reusability. Alpha Chem Gun Grade Expanding foam has excellent adhesion and filling capabilities plus high thermal and acoustical insulation value. Conforms to fire class B3 according to DIN 4102-1. Mould proof, waterproof and over paintable.

This product does not contain any propellant gases which are harmful to the ozone layer.

Ideal for:

  • Filling large, irregular or awkward gaps where the foam will expand to completely fill the cavity.
  • Fixing and insulating window and door frames.
  • Fixing boards.
  • Insulating between brickwork and cladding, around ductwork and through cavities carrying pipes and cables.
  • Backing as a joint backing material in low expansion joints.

    • Directions

  • Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, dry and free from dust, grease or other contaminants.
  • Optimal can temperature is +20°C. Application temperature is between +5 °C and +30 °C.
  • SHAKE THE CAN WELL BEFORE USE.
  • Screw onto an applicator gun, taking care not to overtighten.
  • Moistening the surfaces and the foam improves adhesion and shortens the cure time.
  • To apply the foam, TURN THE CAN UPSIDE DOWN and press the trigger, the output of the foam can be regulated with the trigger and controlled with the adjustment screw on the back side of the gun. Always keep the can upside down during application.
  • FILLING - fill the hole half full of foam, as post expansion will completely fill the hole.
  • FIXING - When fixing door and window frames use wedges to hold the frame in place until full cure is reached, approximately 24 hours.
  • After use the gun should always be left attached to the can of foam. To re-use simply break the nib of foam at the end of the gun applicator nozzle, shake can and start application.
  • Fresh foam can be cleaned by Alpha Chem Foam Cleaner. Cured foam can be cleaned mechanically.
  • It is the user's responsibility to dispose of all packaging correctly.
