How to Order Guide
At Allfix we've made it simple and easy to order from us. Our website is quick to use and very user friendly.
We want you to make the most of your time online and make your shopping experience a breeze!
We've set out these simple instructions below as a reference guide. If there is something you are not sure about then please contact us and we will be happy to help.
If you have registered on the site previously then please login with your username and password.
If you are an account customer and have registered with the site your own individual discounts and terms are clearly shown on the site for your convenience.
Most of the product codes available on our website can be purchased in any unit quantity but in most cases the more you buy the more you save!
Please note all product ranges require a minimum order of 1 unit. For example we do not split kilogram units to less than one. A minimum order of 1 kg would apply in this case.
By buying in large quantities you can make HUGE savings!! This is shown clearly on every product page. An example is given below.
Even buying under 10 will still give you a big discount off the list price, with a huge discount on 100 or more!!
We have restrictions on some product ranges which require a boxed quantity as a minimum order. This is clearly explained in the relevant categories.
Categories that require a minimum boxed quantity:
Popular Ranges of Nails, Woodscrews (except Stainless), All Thread Studding, Channel, Window Screws and Jigsaw Blades
The guide below demonstrates a scenario where a minimum boxed quantity is required.
STEP 1
Lets assume you want to purchase some 6 X 1 countersunk pozi twins woodscrews.
Please use the product list at the top left of the site to bring up our product categories on the main page.
Alternatively you can go direct into our product range via the main menu on the left via categories, in this case we are looking under Fasteners.
You can also use our search engine to quickly find goods which are situated at the lower right hand side of the screen.
If you know our product code you can enter it in our Partno box at the top of the screen.
When you've found the product you require in this case the 6 x 1 woodscrews, proceed to Step 2.
STEP 2
As a minimum order quantity of 200 applies to this particular product please do the following
Choose the amount you would like to buy, for example if you want 3 boxes of 200 - enter 600 in the 'quantity' box then simply press the 'Add' button
If you enter a value which is not in multiples of 200, our system will round up to the next boxed quantity.
Proceed to Step 3.
STEP 3
Your selection is clearly shown in the basket as shown above. You may choose to add additional items to the basket in which case repeat steps 1 and 2. If you want to remove an item, simply click on the red X. The basket will remove the item and update accordingly.
To review the contents of the basket in detail at any time click 'Basket'. The following screen is shown.
Full details are shown including VAT and the grand total. Please note this does not show delivery charges, this is shown at the checkout.

You may continue shopping at this point but if you are satisfied with your selection click on 'Checkout' and proceed to Step 4.
STEP 4
If you have registered with us previously then you can skip this step and proceed to Step 5.
To use our site you will be required to register with us in order to use the site in the future.
We respect your privacy and have a strict privacy policy. We do not pass on your details to third parties without your consent, details of our privacy policy can be found in here.
Please fill in your email address. This will be your username to log on to the site in the future. Choose a memorable password and keep
it in a safe place. Please read the communication and tick the box if appropriate. You must read the terms and conditions and agree to them before going any further. Click on next and proceed to Step 5.
STEP 5
Please enter your billing and delivery addresses in the boxes provided. Click on next. Proceed to Step 6.
STEP 6
Delivery details are clearly shown. Click on next. Proceed to Step 7.
STEP 7
Please fill out the relevant details including any order reference numbers and any special instructions. Click next and proceed to Step 8.
STEP 8
You will have a chance to review your order. If there is anything you are not happy with then click on back. When ready click on confirm to complete the ordering process.
STEP 9
You will then be taken to our Protx secure online payment system. You will need to enter your credit / debit card details at this point. Follow the instructions on screen.
