Allfix recognises that environmental awareness is an important business function and has determined appropiate policy to address energy, transport and waste minimisation throughout the organisation.

The company's committment towards implementing its environmental policies so as to mimimise any adverse environmental impact, is to ensure, so far as is reasonable practicable, the following:

The company will look for continuous improvement in areas such as transport, stationary, supplies and recycling improvement.

The company, where practicable, will ensure this policy is invested in all employees and suppliers.

Develop a totally green attitude to recycling in accordance with advice and recommendations from our waste management contractors.

Energy saving features are incorporated into new equipment procured.

Transport activities are undertaken in a manner that maximises efficiency of running costs for outside sales personnel and courier operators.

Stock is retained and subsequently distributed in its original packaging whenever possible.

All waste will be identified before disposal, in accordance with the EC Landfill Directive. Every effort will be made to recycle waste paper and cardboard.

The performance of systems adopted are monitored and measured at least annually and this policy will be applied to all branches.
